WWE has had a Friday Night SmackDown taping canceled from its September schedule. The show was scheduled for September 4 at Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, but it is now listed as canceled on Ticketmaster.
On the official ticketing page, the platform displays the following message to fans:
“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. You don’t need to do a thing. We’ll issue a refund to the original method of.”
According to Fightful, the taping was canceled a little over a month after WWE announced it. So far, the company has not explained the reason for the change.

The curious part is that, despite the Ticketmaster notice, the event is still listed on WWE’s official website for September 4 in Cincinnati, with a 7:30 p.m. start time at Heritage Bank Center.
The date was part of a run of televised WWE events. WWE still lists Sunday Night’s Main Event for September 6 in Atlanta, as well as Monday Night RAW for September 7 in Birmingham.
WWE also has a packed international schedule the following week. The September 11 episode of SmackDown is set for Arena CDMX in Mexico City, while the company is also scheduled to run events in Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile during the same stretch.
It is still unclear whether the Cincinnati SmackDown will be moved to another city, rescheduled for a new date, or simply removed from WWE’s calendar altogether.
