Ivy Nile could be headed for a major change in WWE over the coming months, right as her contract situation enters an important window.
Creative sources told Fightful Select that plans for Nile have been in the works for some time. Those plans call for a significant change, though the specifics of what WWE has in mind have not been revealed.
The timing is notable as Nile’s current contract is set to expire this fall. It has not been confirmed whether an extension has been offered or whether the two sides have reached a new agreement.
Nile has not appeared on Raw since March 9, when she competed in a Gauntlet Match for a Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity. She defeated IYO SKY before being eliminated by Bayley.
Despite her absence from flagship television, Nile has remained active in the ring. She has been working regularly on WWE Main Event, defeating PJ Vasa on August 6 along with picking up wins over Thea Hail and Wendy Choo in July.
WWE still lists Nile as a member of the Raw on WWE.com. She was originally called up to the main roster alongside the Creed Brothers in November 2023.
There is no word yet on when Nile will return to Raw or what the planned change entails.
