WWE Reveals Major Plans for Monday’s RAW

Liv Morgan will defend the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer on the September 7 episode of Monday Night RAW. WWE has also confirmed that men’s and women’s Money in the Bank qualifiers will begin on the show at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.

Morgan and Vaquer’s rivalry has heated up in recent weeks. On the August 31 episode of RAW, Morgan said she would beat Vaquer again and retain her title, while Roxanne Perez promised to prevent any interference from Becky Lynch.

Lynch has made it clear that she wants the first title shot if Vaquer defeats Morgan. Vaquer rejected the idea during a backstage confrontation with Lynch.

The qualifying matches will begin the road to Money in the Bank, scheduled for October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The winners of the men’s and women’s ladder matches will each earn a contract for a world title opportunity.

RAW will air one night after Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, with fallout from the special also expected on Monday’s show.
