Sol Ruca earned a spot in the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Ruca defeated Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri in a Triple Threat qualifier on Monday’s RAW. Late in the match, as Valkyria was about to pin Dupri, Bayley made her return to WWE programming and pulled the referee out of the ring to break the count.
Ruca capitalized on the distraction, hit the Sol Snatcher on Valkyria and got the pin, becoming the first woman to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
The interference also renewed the Bayley-Valkyria rivalry. Bayley hadn’t been on WWE TV since July 18, when she lost to Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden in New York City. After the match, Valkyria hit Bayley with a Night Wing on the steel steps, which was used to write Bayley off television.
Money in the Bank takes place October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
