WWE SmackDown on USA Network opens with footage of tonight’s arrivals at the arena.
Alexa Bliss is joined by Tatum Paxley and Charlotte Flair, while Jade Cargill arrives with B-Fab and Michin. Fatal Influence also arrives, as do Trick Williams with Lil Yachty, Rey Fenix and Randy Orton.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis opens the show and reluctantly introduces Sami Zayn as the new Undisputed WWE Champion.
Zayn enters to boos and confronts Aldis for laughing during the introduction. He calls the title a symbol of hope, insisting his pursuit of justice was for everyone before raising the championship and declaring that this is what justice looks like. Sami wants challengers to face the same hurdles he did. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae interrupt, and Zayn thanks Gargano for helping him win the title. Gargano says he’s owed the first title shot and wants it tonight, but Zayn denies making that deal. Aldis says Gargano already had an opportunity and CM Punk is next in line, though Punk isn’t at the arena.
Kevin Owens interrupt and demands a title shot and hits Johnny Gargano with a Stunner. After Owens brings up Sami Zayn’s interference in Toronto, Zayn grabs Nick Aldis’ jacket, prompting Aldis to book Zayn vs. Owens for the championship tonight. Zayn chases Aldis to protest as Randy Orton enters, rubs Zayn’s title and exchanges a stare with Owens.
Men’s Money in the Bank – Qualifying Match: Randy Orton vs. AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix vs. WWE United States Champion Trick Williams
– Williams pins Fenix after Orton hits Fenix with an RKO.
Sami Zayn tells Johnny Gargano he deserves a title shot and promises to help him get one, but warns it won’t matter if Zayn loses the championship. He questions whether Gargano would still receive an opportunity without him as champion and tells Gargano and Candice LeRae to have each other’s backs.
With Talla Tonga and Haku beside him, Tama Tonga says Shinsuke Nakamura needed him—not the other way around—and claims rejecting Nakamura’s help drove him to Japan for Kyoki. He warns that whatever happens to Kyoki will be Nakamura’s fault.
Bakusai responds in Japanese as Nakamura warns MFT that its members are the prey, not the hunters.
Tatum Paxley tries to bring Alexa Bliss luck with candles, but an argument with Charlotte Flair drives Bliss away. “The Queen” snuffs out a candle, then quickly relights it after Paxley warns that doing so brings bad luck.
Tag Team Match: WWE Tag Team Champions MFT (Tama & Talla Tonga w/ Haku) vs. Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura & Kyoki)
– Bakusai wins via DQ after Nakamura is attacked by Haku.
Kevin Owens vows to beat Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the arena where he defeated John Cena in his main-roster debut. Finn Bálor questions Owens getting a title shot after helping Zayn win, then vows to earn his own opportunity, through Money in the Bank if necessary.
Chelsea Green supports Tiffany Stratton getting a Money in the Bank qualifier. Nikki Bella tells Green she doesn’t need the briefcase, claiming her legend status lets her get a title shot anytime.
Cody Rhodes offers no excuses for hesitating against Randy Orton at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Reflecting on his allies’ betrayals, he vows not to repeat that mistake when he gets another title shot.
Jade Cargill promises B-Fab and Michin will win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and says Alexa Bliss won’t stop her from winning Money in the Bank.
