WWE SmackDown saw a solid ratings jump for the episode that aired this past Friday, July 10, on USA Network.
Wrestlenomics reported that the show drew an average of 1.212 million viewers, marking a roughly 14% increase over the 1.064 million who tuned in the previous week.
The key 18-49 demographic told a different story, though, slipping slightly to a 0.24 rating from the 0.25 posted on the July 3 episode. Even with that dip, SmackDown still finished the night as the top-rated show across all of cable.
Despite the rebound, the numbers remain down compared to the same stretch in 2025. Last year’s July 11 episode of SmackDown pulled in 1.399 million viewers and a 0.37 in the 18-49 demo, putting this year’s show down roughly 13% in total viewership and 35% among the 18-49 crowd year-over-year.
The show took place at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, headlined by the official announcement of CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Baron Corbin also made his return, attacking Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes, while Gunther closed out the broadcast by attacking Nick Aldis.
