Monday Night RAW opened in Omaha, Nebraska with an unexpected face-to-face between two of WWE‘s most storied rivals.
Roman Reigns arrived at the arena with his World Heavyweight Championship in hand and immediately went hunting for Jacob Fatu to settle the score from last week’s attacks. General Manager Adam Pearce cut him off before he could reach Gorilla Position, telling Reigns that Fatu hadn’t arrived yet.
That’s when Seth Rollins, who was scheduled to open the show, stepped in. Rollins told Reigns he was standing in his way, sparking a tense staredown.
He never made it to the ring. Bron Breakker brutally attacked him before he could get there, and it took several security guards to break up the brawl.

The exchange was brief, but Reigns and Rollins carry years of history, and it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE is already planting seeds for another chapter, with or without the title involved.
They last met in 2022 at the Royal Rumble for the Undisputed WWE Championship, where Rollins picked up the win by disqualification, leaving their story unfinished.
Reigns will defend his title against Fatu at Backlash, while Rollins is set to face Breakker on the same card.
