It didn’t take long for Bron Breakker’s WWE return to turn bloody. One night after costing “The Visionary” Seth Rollins his WrestleMania 42 match against GUNTHER, the two-time Intercontinental Champion was busted wide open during a brawl on Monday’s “WWE Raw” after a steel chair shot from Rollins went awry.

The segment started as The Vision hit the ring at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Paul Heyman cut a promo paying tribute to Brock Lesnar and demanded production move “The Beast” into the “Forever” graphic, before handing the mic to Logan Paul. Breakker interrupted moments later, boasting about costing Rollins the match in Allegiant Stadium less than 48 hours earlier.

That’s when Rollins stormed through the curtain with a chair. The shot was intended to catch Breakker across the back, but the top edge of the chair landed flush on the back of his head. Breakker rolled to the floor and collapsed against the barricade as medical staff rushed over with towels to stop the bleeding, with fan footage circulating on social media showing just how deep the cut was.

Despite the blood loss, Breakker stayed in the fight. Austin Theory and Logan Paul jumped Rollins before the returning Street Profits evened the odds, and Breakker closed the segment by dropping Rollins with a pair of spears.

Breakker only just came back from a three-month layoff. He had been sidelined since February 2, when he suffered a hernia while flipping the commentary desk on “Raw,” costing him a planned singles match with Rollins at WrestleMania 42. No official word has been given on the severity of the head wound.
