There is considerable uncertainty behind the scenes about the future of WWE Evolve, particularly in the wake of WWE’s latest moves involving its Wednesday night programming.
According to Fightful Select, Evolve’s status was the subject of numerous inquiries within both WWE and AEW, especially following the new deal that brings WWE Main Event to Rumble.
WWE has officially announced that Main Event will leave YouTube for Rumble beginning October 14, with the show streaming every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. That is the exact time slot Evolve currently occupies on Tubi.
Despite the questions, there is still no indication that Evolve will be canceled. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE has taped enough episodes to keep the show on the air through early February 2027.
Several WWE ID contracts are also expected to expire next month, which adds to the questions about how the program will be structured next year.
For now, Evolve is still being advertised as usual for Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi.
