WWE has struck another major media partnership, signing a multi-year agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery-owned Bleacher Report.
Under the agreement, Bleacher Report will hold global highlight rights to all of WWE’s programming, including Raw, SmackDown, NXT and premium live events such as WrestleMania. That content will be distributed through House of Highlights and B/R Wrestling as well.
B/R will also send teams to ringside at select WWE events to produce exclusive content directly from the arenas.
The partnership is set to begin soon, ahead of Money in the Bank, which will be held on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The deal has drawn attention mainly because Warner Bros. Discovery is AEW‘s current television partner. However, Fightful Select reports that a WBD source believes the agreement could even benefit Tony Khan’s promotion, reasoning that WBD will have more resources dedicated to pro wrestling.
The WBD source added that WWE’s partnership with Bleacher Report should not interfere with future negotiations involving AEW. Dynamite and Collision currently air on TBS, TNT and HBO Max under AEW’s media rights deal with WBD, which runs through the end of 2027 with an option for 2028.
Bleacher Report’s ties to AEW were once far more extensive. B/R handled U.S. distribution of the promotion’s pay-per-views until September 2024, when it decided to leave that business.
