Andrade El Ídolo’s next AEW National Championship defense is set for All Out against PAC. Andrade accepted PAC’s challenge on Saturday’s AEW Collision.
PAC defeated Adam Priest by submission earlier in the show. Andrade later retained the National Championship against Daniel Garcia, but the Death Riders attacked him after the match. PAC grabbed a microphone and asked for a title match at the pay-per-view while the group had Andrade subdued. Andrade accepted.
Andrade and PAC were also booked to face each other at All Out in 2021. Tony Khan pulled that match from the card because of PAC’s travel issues. It was rescheduled for AEW Rampage five days after All Out.
Andrade won their first meeting following interference from Chavo Guerrero. PAC won the rematch on Rampage the following month. Their AEW singles record stands at 1-1, making the upcoming match at All Out a tiebreaker.
Andrade’s standing in AEW has changed since those matches. He holds the AEW National Championship and a contract guaranteeing him an AEW World Championship match. He earned the contract with his Casino Gauntlet match win at All In, held August 30 at Wembley Stadium.
AEW All Out will take place next Saturday, September 26, at the NOW Arena in Chicago.
