Hangman Adam Page and Brodido earned an AEW World Trios Championship match at All Out on Wednesday night.
AEW made it official during Dynamite after the trio beat The Conglomeration.
The match opened the second hour of the show in Norfolk, with Page, Bandido, and Brody King taking on Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong. Page finished it by hitting Strong with the Buckshot Lariat for the pin.
Their opponent still isn’t set, though. Swerve Strickland and The New Level — Austin Creed and Kofi — hold the titles, but they defend against The Demand on next Wednesday’s Dynamite. Whoever walks out with the belts will face Page and Brodido at All Out.
Page, Bandido, and King dropped those same titles to Swerve, Creed, and Kofi in the Trios Roulette Royale at All In: London on August 30.
On last week’s Dynamite, Swerve and The New Level retained against The Conglomeration, and Page and Brodido came out to run off The Demand and The Lethal Swirl. The three later confirmed they’d stick together to chase the AEW World Trios Championship.
AEW All Out takes place Saturday, September 26, at the NOW Arena in Chicago.
