AEW is not expected to expand the World Tag Team Championship match at All In into a multi-team bout, despite weeks of growing speculation.
According to Fightful Select, the plan as of last week remained Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defending the titles against The Young Bucks in a straight tag match, with no additional teams slated to be added.
Speculation picked up after The Motor City Machine Guns arrived in AEW, with Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley making their official debut on the July 30 Collision. Kofi and Austin Creed are also expected in the company soon, though sources have not confirmed that either has signed a deal.

11:10 AM · Aug 13, 2026FTR’s name came up as well, largely due to their extensive history with Copeland, Cage, and the Young Bucks. However, the team is already booked for RevPro’s London event on August 29 during All In weekend, with no indication they’re being added to the AEW title match.
Copeland and Cage vs. The Young Bucks was made official on the July 26 Redemption, where the champions retained against PAC and Claudio Castagnoli while Matt and Nick Jackson defeated Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay. After the title defense, both teams came face to face and AEW confirmed the match for Wembley Stadium.
Copeland and Cage have held the titles since May 24, when they defeated FTR in a New York Street Fight “I Quit” Match at Double or Nothing.
