The AJ Styles Show is officially over after a roughly seven-month run.
Styles and Tony Giles launched the podcast in March as The Phenomenally Retro Podcast. Originally focused on retro video games, the show quickly branched out into WWE backstage topics and the new phase of Styles’ career.
On August 3, the podcast was renamed The AJ Styles Show in a major rebrand. Despite the new name, the format stayed the same, with the WWE Hall of Famer and Giles continuing to discuss pro wrestling, video games, and stories from Styles’ career.

The final episode available on major platforms went up on September 7. Styles and Giles discussed the new generation in NXT and revisited backstage stories from Styles’ debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble. Four days later, Fightful reported the show would be going on a break that week.
During its run, the podcast also became a key source for updates on Styles’ backstage work with WWE. Styles used the show to reveal his involvement in scouting new talent and later explained that he was temporarily filling in for a trainer at the Performance Center.
Styles retired from in-ring competition at the Royal Rumble on January 31 after losing to Gunther. He has remained with WWE since then in a backstage capacity, working in scouting, production, and talent development.
