Oba Femi has been officially added to the Monday Night RAW roster. WWE updated its website to list “The Ruler” under the red brand, ending his time as a listed free agent. Femi had carried the free agent designation since leaving NXT earlier this year, even as he appeared almost exclusively on Raw in recent months.
The change is largely a formality. WWE had been treating Femi as part of RAW’s lineup for some time, advertising him among the brand’s featured names for events as far back as June.
The roster update comes amid a remarkable stretch for the former NXT Champion. Femi defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, won the 2026 King of the Ring, and beat Lesnar again at SummerSlam in a Hell in a Cell match.

Most recently, Femi faced Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6. Femi won by disqualification after a returning Bronson Reed attacked him with a steel chair and hit him with multiple Tsunamis.
Femi is also confirmed for a special appearance at Worlds Collide on Saturday, September 26, at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. WWE has not announced what his role at the event will be.
