Jacob Fatu remains one of WWE’s biggest question marks for Clash in Italy, but the situation appears to have taken a slightly more positive turn over the last few hours.

According to Cory Hays of False Finish, WWE is currently working under the expectation that Fatu will be able to wrestle this Sunday, May 31. Even so, the company is reportedly looking at possible last-minute changes in case the “Samoan Werewolf” is not cleared to compete.

The concern began after Fatu faced Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight at a WWE live event in Liverpool, England, last Thursday.

Fatu was seen limping after the match, and it was later confirmed that he was legitimately hurt rather than simply selling the effects of the bout.

Another update indicated that the issue is believed to involve his back, though WWE has yet to officially confirm the severity of the injury.

As of now, Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu is still advertised for Clash in Italy, with the two set to meet in a Tribal Combat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
