Becky Lynch did not take her disqualification loss to Sol Ruca very well at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which took place last Saturday, May 23.
The match was not for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, but it still had a direct impact on the title picture. Ruca won after Lynch pulled referee Jessika Carr into the path of a Sol Snatcher.
After the match, the champion attacked Ruca with multiple Manhandle Slams, making it clear that the rivalry between the two was far from over. Shortly afterward, Becky took to social media to mock the result.
“I guess I’m so good at winning that I win for other people now! Sol Ruca couldn’t beat me. And she hit an official. We need to end the corruption.”

The situation, however, ended up backfiring on Lynch. Adam Pearce made a rematch between the two official for WWE Clash in Italy, this time with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 31, streaming in the United States on the ESPN App at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT with an ESPN Unlimited plan. Internationally, the show will stream on Netflix.

Ruca had already challenged Lynch on the May 18 episode of Monday Night RAW, where the champion only agreed to a non-title match. Now, the young star will get her biggest opportunity since arriving on RAW.
