Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab turned heads right away at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, opening the show in gear inspired by Michael Jackson.
The trio faced Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The tribute was even mentioned on commentary by Michael Cole. Michin also wore her hair in a look inspired by the King of Pop, further emphasizing the reference made by Cargill’s group before the match.
The choice came at a time when Michael Jackson has been getting major exposure in pop culture. The film Michael recently returned to No. 1 at the North American box office, grossing $26.1 million over the weekend.
Ripley defeated Cargill at WrestleMania 42 to win the WWE Women’s Championship. On the night before Saturday Night’s Main Event, the champion also accepted Cargill’s challenge for a title match at Clash in Italy.
