Bianca Belair has finally taken a small positive step in the long recovery process from her finger injury.

The former WWE Women’s Champion posted an update on her Instagram Story showing that she’s back to wearing her wedding ring, something she hadn’t been able to do since her surgery and the lingering swelling in her hand. Belair revealed that her ring size went from 7.5 to 10, saying her ring finger is now bigger than her thumb.

Belair hasn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 41, when she suffered the injury during the Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley. According to Fightful, the problem involved her finger and the joint, keeping her out of action ever since.

In February, Belair underwent surgery after 10 months of injury, eight months of rehab, and visits with five different doctors. At the time, she said she could finally start putting the issue behind her, though there was still no timetable for her return to the ring.

More recently, the EST explained that she lost part of the joint, something that can’t be fixed, and that her finger still doesn’t bend the way it should. Because of that, she admitted she’s not yet able to get back to wrestling.

Meanwhile, Belair is also living an important moment outside the ring. At WrestleMania 42, she announced that she’s expecting her first child with Montez Ford, in her first WWE appearance since 2025.

So far, WWE has not announced any timetable for Bianca Belair’s return to weekly programming.
