Add as a preferred source on Google Big Cass returned to WWE on this past Monday’s RAW in Des Moines, Iowa, ending an eight-year absence from the company.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Cass was in “great spirits” and “excited” about his return Monday night.
The appearance came immediately after Je’Von Evans defeated Ethan Page in the show’s opening match. Cass hit the ring, dropped Evans with a Big Boot, and finished him off with the East River Crossing, leaving Evans laid out.
Backstage, Cass said it took him eight years to make it back after being cast aside, calling the attack nothing personal — Evans, he said, was simply in his way — and adding that he plans to rack up victims during this new run.
The return had been teased for weeks through vignettes leading into SummerSlam, all of which pointed to an August 3, 2026 return date.
However, while those vignettes played up Cass’ recovery journey, his first appearance back established him as a heel once again.
WWE has not announced Cass’ first opponent, but the attack and promo indicate Je’Von Evans could remain involved at the start of this new chapter.
