Add as a preferred source on Google Big Cass is officially back in WWE. He appeared on Monday’s Raw from Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and targeted Je’Von Evans during his return to the company.
The angle took place immediately after Evans defeated Ethan Page. Page controlled much of the match, primarily by targeting Evans’ back. However, after stopping Page from exposing one of the turnbuckles, Evans hit an OG Cutter and scored the pinfall.
It was Evans’ first win over Page on the main roster. On the April 20 episode of Raw, Page defeated Evans in Evans’ red-brand debut following interference from Rusev.
The celebration did not last long. Cass appeared in the ring and dropped Evans with a Big Boot, followed by a clothesline. Cass then locked in a bearhug before ending the attack with the East River Crossing.
It was Cass’ first WWE appearance since 2018. His last match for the company took place at that year’s Money in the Bank, where he lost to Daniel Bryan. WWE announced his release two days later.
