WWE has confirmed a big match between Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch to decide the next challenger for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
Adam Pearce announced the match on social media on Saturday.
The two will meet on Monday’s Raw at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The announcement came after Vaquer was medically cleared to return to the ring.
In a video posted by WWE, Vaquer appeared on the crutches she had been using since her ankle injury. She threw them down and had a message for Lynch.
“Becky, you wanted to know when I’m clear?” Vaquer said. “See ya, Monday!”
Shortly after, Pearce made the match official and said both women wanted the title shot.
“They both wanted it, and now Stephanie Vaquer is medically cleared to compete,” Pearce said.
Lynch also responded to the announcement.
“I’ll give you three weeks and I’m sure you’ll be injured again,” Lynch said. “See you Monday.”
Monday’s match will be the first singles meeting between Vaquer and Lynch in WWE. The two shared the ring at Money in the Bank on October 10, when Morgan defeated both of them in a triple threat match to regain the title.
Morgan already has another match lined up. She will face Chelsea Green in a champion vs. champion match at Crown Jewel on November 7. WWE hasn’t announced when the winner of Vaquer vs. Lynch will get her title shot.
