Stephanie Vaquer will not be able to face Becky Lynch on Monday’s Raw in Fresno, California.

Adam Pearce opened the show with a medical update on Vaquer and confirmed the match was canceled.

Pearce said he learned in the afternoon that doctors hadn’t cleared Vaquer to compete. Because Lynch was in the building, Pearce announced she will face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship later in the show.

Vaquer vs. Lynch was scheduled as a No. 1 contender’s match, and the winner was set to earn a future shot at Morgan’s title.

The news also marked a change from what WWE itself announced over the weekend. In its official Raw preview, published on Sunday, the company described Vaquer as fully recovered and ready to face Lynch.

Vaquer suffered an ankle injury at Money in the Bank on October 10, when she lost the title to Morgan in a triple threat match that also included Lynch.

Morgan and Lynch recently met on the October 5 episode of Raw. Vaquer was the champion at the time, and her attack on both women caused the match to end without a winner. The finish set up the triple threat title match at Money in the Bank.
