Brock Lesnar may not be ending his current WWE run at SummerSlam, even with his Hell in a Cell match against Oba Femi being treated as a possible conclusion to his career.

Over the past several hours, rumors have surfaced that WWE is working with the idea of putting Lesnar in a feud with Bron Breakker after the August premium live event. If the plan moves forward, it would reportedly be tied directly to Paul Heyman moving away from The Vision and could lead to a trilogy between “The Beast Incarnate” and Breakker.

So far, however, the information has not been confirmed by the major backstage outlets. What is concrete is that Heyman appeared alongside Lesnar again on the June 29 episode of RAW, while The Vision’s situation grew increasingly unstable. On the same show, Heyman ignored Austin Theory backstage, making it clear that his focus was once again on Lesnar.

Lesnar is currently involved in an intense rivalry with Oba Femi. At Night of Champions, Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring, earning a world title opportunity at SummerSlam. Instead of choosing Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn, “The Ruler” ended up accepting the chance to settle his issues with Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell.

The story between Lesnar and Femi already has two chapters. Femi defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 in a match that appeared to point toward The Beast’s retirement. Lesnar then answered back at Clash in Italy, winning the rematch and evening the rivalry.

Bron Breakker, meanwhile, is coming off a brutal loss to Seth Rollins at Night of Champions in a Steel Cage match that may have ended his feud with the former leader of The Vision.
