The match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi at WWE SummerSlam will be historic, and it has now received a striking new poster that reinforces the weight of the rivalry.
The poster features both men face-to-face, with the Hell in a Cell structure prominently shown in the background.
The match was confirmed on this week’s Monday Night Raw, which took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Femi opened the show to celebrate his King of the Ring victory, which he earned at Night of Champions against Jey Uso, but he was interrupted by Lesnar and Paul Heyman.
During the segment, Lesnar attacked Femi with a low blow and an F-5. However, the Nigerian star got back up, continued to taunt “The Beast Incarnate,” and challenged him to a match at SummerSlam.
Lesnar accepted the challenge, but with one condition: the match will take place inside Hell in a Cell. Adam Pearce later approved the decision backstage, while Femi made it clear that his world title shot will have to wait.
As a result, Femi is not expected to immediately use his King of the Ring win to challenge Sami Zayn or Roman Reigns, WWE’s current world champions.
For now, the focus will be on ending his rivalry with Lesnar.
SummerSlam will take place on August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This will be the first time WWE has held a stadium event in the city.
