Add as a preferred source on Google Brock Lesnar’s Hell in a Cell match with Oba Femi at SummerSlam isn’t expected to be the end of his WWE run, even though it’ll be their third match in a little over three months.
WrestleVotes Radio, via Fightful Select, reports the belief backstage is that Lesnar will still be around after the show. One source said they’d be surprised if he didn’t go away from WWE TV for a few months and come back for the WrestleMania 43 build. As always, Lesnar keeps his schedule between himself and a very small group of people.
That’s a change from where things stood in April, when plenty of people in WWE figured SummerSlam in Minneapolis would be his retirement match.
After he did the job for Femi at WrestleMania 42, he left his boots and gloves in the ring, WWE moved him to the alumni section of its site, and “Thank You Brock” merch went up.
The feeling within WWE is that this weekend is not expected to be Brock Lesnar's final match.

Lesnar came back on May 18 and beat Femi at Clash in Italy to even the series at 1-1. The rubber match is night one of SummerSlam, Saturday, August 1, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with a 6 p.m. ET start.
WrestleMania 43 runs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2027, the first Mania outside North America. Time off after SummerSlam would put Lesnar back on TV right as that build kicks off.
