CM Punk will be the guest on a special episode of Hot Ones: Extra Heat, premiering on Netflix next Monday, September 14, immediately after WWE RAW.
Netflix announced Punk’s appearance on Wednesday, September 9, also confirming Sean Evans as host.
“CM Punk will go head-to-head with the wings of death in a new episode Hot Ones: Extra Heat!”
“Sean Evans hosts this special episode, debuting directly after a LIVE episode of WWE Raw on Sept 14 at 7pm PT/10pm ET.”
Hot Ones: Extra Heat takes the show’s usual format into 30-minute specials tied to major Netflix events. Evans runs the ten-wing challenge while interviewing the guest, with the heat level rising as the conversation goes on.
The Punk episode will be the second installment of Extra Heat and will carry a direct WWE tie-in. Netflix’s own September schedule describes the episode as a WWE-dedicated installment, debuting as soon as the RAW broadcast wraps.
The September 14 RAW will be held live at Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The show is part of WWE’s run through the country, which also includes the September 11 SmackDown and night two of Triplemanía 34 on September 13, at the same venue.
This won’t be Punk’s first Hot Ones franchise appearance in 2026. On January 27, he appeared alongside AJ Mendez on Hot Ones Versus, where the couple answered questions about WWE while taking on the Wings of Death challenges.
