Cody Rhodes has once again fueled speculation about projects outside WWE after showing up at Marvel Studios.
On Wednesday, Rhodes posted a photo from Marvel’s Burbank, California offices to his Instagram Story. He offered no caption or explanation with the post and did not clarify whether the picture was taken that day or during a previous visit.
Speculation about a potential new project quickly followed.
Back in May, during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Rhodes made it clear that expanding into acting is very much part of his long-term plans.
“Moving into Hollywood is a definite natural extension of what we do next.”
Rhodes already has a major Hollywood role lined up. He’s set to play Guile in the upcoming Street Fighter film, which also features Roman Reigns as Akuma. The movie hits theaters on October 16, 2026.
This won’t be Rhodes’ first acting credit, either. He previously appeared on the DC series Arrow, playing the villain Derek Sampson.
Despite his growing presence in Hollywood, Rhodes remains fully locked in with WWE. His next major match is set for September 6 at Sunday Night’s Main Event, where he faces Randy Orton.
