Roxanne Perez could end up being one of the biggest surprises at AAA Ola de Calor, set for this Sunday at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas.
WWE once again promoted the Mystery Gauntlet Match on social media, the bout that will determine the next challenger for Flammer’s AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. All of the entrants are still being kept under wraps.
Hours after the post went live, Perez replied directly to WWE’s official post with just a GIF and no text. That alone was enough to fuel speculation that the Judgment Day member could show up in the match.

Flammer told Rey Mysterio she had no intention of wrestling at TripleManía 34 because she had already beaten every available challenger. The General Manager responded by creating the Gauntlet Match at Ola de Calor, with the winner earning a future title shot against the champion.
A Perez appearance at an AAA event wouldn’t be unprecedented within the WWE-AAA partnership. In 2025, she accompanied Judgment Day at TripleManía XXXIII and later competed at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide, teaming with Finn Bálor against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana.
AAA Ola de Calor takes place this Sunday, August 30, in Edinburg. The card also features Damian Priest competing for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship, along with Penta, Rey Fenix, and Dragon Lee taking on Perros del Mal.
