AEW has added a title match to this Saturday’s Collision (9/19). Darby Allin will put the TNT Championship on the line against Myron Reed of The Rascalz.
Tony Khan confirmed on X that Reed signed the open contract Allin had made available for a title shot. The show airs live from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia.
Reed heads into the match with momentum after The Rascalz — Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Reed — defeated Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto, and Griff Garrison on last week’s Collision. The trio also challenged for the AEW World Trios Championship earlier this month but came up short against Swerve Strickland and The New Level.
Allin captured the TNT Championship for the third time at All In on 8/30, defeating Kevin Knight at Wembley Stadium in London. He has made just one successful defense since, turning back Mark Davis on the 9/2 Dynamite.
Allin also has a high-profile tag match on the horizon. At All Out on 9/26, he’ll team with Steven Borden to face Knight and Kyle Fletcher, with the winning team earning a future AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity.
Saturday’s Collision will also feature Andrade El Idolo defending the AEW National Championship against Daniel Garcia. Thekla takes on Zayda Steel as well, with Willow Nightingale joining the commentary team.
