Enzo Amore has been back around WWE, fueling speculation about a possible reunion with the company.
According to False Finish, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has recently been at the WWE Performance Center and was also seen there yesterday ahead of WWE NXT. This week’s show aired live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
As of now, however, there is no confirmation that Amore has signed a new deal or that WWE is preparing to bring him back.
Amore, real name Eric Arndt, was released by WWE on January 23, 2018, one day after he was suspended by the company.
Before that, he had a memorable NXT run alongside Big Cass, including challenging Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson for the NXT Tag Team Championship at TakeOver: London. Years later, on the main roster, he defeated Neville at No Mercy 2017 to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Amore’s presence at the Performance Center stands out given NXT’s current direction, with the brand bringing in several new names while also featuring occasional returns to strengthen its weekly programming.
