Braun Strowman isn’t ruling out a return to WWE, but he made it clear that it would only happen for a major payday.
During a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, “The Monster Among Men” was asked about the possibility of getting back in the ring to face Oba Femi, one of the strongest names in WWE’s new generation.
Strowman said he would accept the challenge if WWE were willing to pay the right price.
“If the money’s right, I’m down to do about anything. You want to back that Brinks truck up and dump some gold bullion on my porch? I’ll come back and whip that young kid Oba Femi’s ass real quick. It didn’t look like Brock had to do too much to do it this past weekend.”
Despite the jab, Strowman made a point to praise Femi, saying he has a big future ahead of him and is a true physical specimen.
Still, he stressed that WWE would need to show some “common sense” to turn the potential match into big business.
“If WWE pulls their head out of their you-know-what and has some common sense, we can make a lot of money. But business is business.”
Strowman was released by WWE in May 2025, during a round of cuts that also included names such as Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter.
He remains tied to WWE’s orbit through Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman, a WWE-produced series for USA Network. The show was renewed for a second season after drawing strong numbers during its first run.
Finally, Strowman admitted that he misses the ring, the locker room, and the fans’ reactions, but said he does not miss the backstage politics and the issues that come with life in WWE.
