Gunther has once again commented on a possible WWE match against Brock Lesnar, but made it clear that The Beast Incarnate is not on his radar yet, at least not for now.

Gunther’s focus, according to the man himself, is fully on Cody Rhodes. The two will face off at Clash in Italy, where the Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line on Sunday, May 31.

Speaking in a recent interview with the Italian Wrestling Channel, Gunther said he has not thought much about facing Lesnar, especially since he did not closely follow what happened with him at WrestleMania 42.

“I wasn’t even there on that day at Mania, because it was the day after me, when a lot of it happened with Brock, so I only saw it in a headline, and that’s literally all the info I had. Obviously, he’s back now, but I haven’t thought about it. I’m really focused on what I’m doing with Cody now. I will be challenging for the WWE Undisputed Championship in Italy, and that’s my full focus right now,” he said.

“After I beat Cody [Rhodes] then Brock [Lesnar] can challenge me, and we’ll do that.”

Lesnar recently returned to WWE after his apparent retirement at WrestleMania 42. On that occasion, he left his gloves and boots in the ring after losing to Oba Femi.

Upon his return, Lesnar attacked Femi, reigniting their rivalry, with a clash between the two powerhouses already set for Clash in Italy.
