“Hangman” Adam Page is officially back on AEW programming after a four-month absence.

This Saturday’s AEW Collision (7/11), held at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia, saw Page open the broadcast to loud “Welcome back” chants from the crowd in his home state. It was his first appearance since Revolution in March.

Page opened the segment talking about life on his property in Greensboro, where he spent much of his time away tending to his garden. Interestingly, just days before his return, Matt and Nick Jackson had already revealed that the former AEW World Champion was doing well and enjoying his time off planting flowers.

The tone of the promo shifted, though, when Hangman looked back on his loss to MJF in a Texas Death Match at AEW Revolution. Under the stipulation both men had agreed to before the match, Page lost the right to ever challenge for the AEW World Championship again.

Even with fans voicing their disapproval of that agreement, Page said he has no plans to look for a way out of it.

Hangman also pointed out that he doesn’t need to sign any paperwork at AEW’s offices, since his word alone is enough to keep the deal standing.

Despite that, Page made it clear he’ll keep chasing championships. He named the TNT Championship, the National Championship, the Continental Championship, and the International Championship as possible new targets.

It remains to be seen which AEW champion will be Hangman’s first target in this new chapter without the world title.
