Add as a preferred source on Google “Hangman” Adam Page is heading back to AEW television. The promotion announced Friday that the former AEW World Champion will make his return this Saturday, July 11, on Collision in Roanoke, Virginia.
Page is set to open the show. As of now, it hasn’t been confirmed whether he’ll be in a match or simply appear in a segment.
This will be Hangman’s first appearance since Revolution, held on March 15, when he was defeated by MJF in the main event, a Last Chance Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship.

During that match, MJF choked Page with a chain from outside the ring, keeping him from answering the referee’s count. As a result of the loss, Hangman is no longer able to challenge for the company’s world title.
The return comes in the same week that Kenny Omega defeated MJF on Dynamite: Beach Break to become AEW World Champion for the second time. Even with the change at the top, Hangman’s restriction remains in effect.
Also on the card, Collision will feature Mark Davis facing Mike Bailey for the AEW National Championship, Bandido facing Katsuyori Shibata for the ROH World Championship, and Hikaru Shida challenging Harley Cameron for the TBS Championship.
