Add as a preferred source on Google Jade Cargill did not leave Turin with only a loss to Rhea Ripley. After WWE Clash in Italy, held Sunday at Inalpi Arena in Italy, Cargill appeared in a WWE exclusive video attacking Charlotte Flair backstage at the event.
The attack came shortly after Cargill failed in her attempt to regain the WWE Women’s Championship. In the match, Rhea Ripley retained the title after hitting a Riptide, closing out the direct rematch from WrestleMania 42.
Charlotte’s involvement played a major role in the outcome. During the match, Michin and B-Fab tried to help Cargill, even placing the challenger’s foot on the ropes to break up the count. Flair then appeared to neutralize both of them and later put Ripley’s foot on the ropes after Cargill hit Jaded.
In other words, Cargill had more than enough reason to leave the show angry. Charlotte’s interference stopped her from winning during one of the most important moments of the match, opening the door for Ripley’s final comeback.

The rivalry between the two had already been building in recent weeks. On the May 29 episode of SmackDown, Cargill defeated Alexa Bliss and, after the match, hit Jaded on a steel chair, causing Charlotte and Ripley to get involved in the chaos again.
Before that, on the May 22 episode of SmackDown, Cargill, Michin and B-Fab attacked Ripley and Charlotte after a match against Fatal Influence, with Jade ending the segment by hitting Jaded on Rhea.

With the post-Clash in Italy attack, WWE all but confirmed that Cargill and Charlotte are headed for a collision course on upcoming episodes of Friday Night SmackDown. The question now is whether Rhea Ripley will remain directly involved in the rivalry, or whether Cargill now has a new obstacle before turning her focus back to the WWE Women’s Championship.
