Jay White renamed his new stable The Cut a few hours after introducing it as The Last Outfit on Saturday’s Collision.
In a video AEW released after the show went off the air, White said he and his allies are comfortable in chaos and don’t care how fans judge them. He also took aim at Jon Moxley and the Death Riders again and vowed to put an end to the group.
“We are The Cut.”
The change came after White announced The Last Outfit during the opening segment of Collision in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. During the segment, he teased fans with the idea of reviving the Bullet Club name but ruled it out.
“We are top-shelf high rollers, the golden gun slingers, some dirty dogs, your collision cowboys. We are the last outfit capable of slicing out the cancer that is Jon Moxley & the Death Riders from the heart of AEW! We are The Cut.” @JayWhiteNZ after #AEWCollision Tonight!! https://t.co/YlmRUDxKq1

The new stable brings together Bang Bang Gang members White, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn with David Finlay and Clark Connors of The Dogs.
The previous name drew criticism from fans on social media. In a Reddit thread, some users rejected The Last Outfit, while others made the case for using the Bullet Club name. The reason for the change has not been made public.
The alliance between the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs began on Wednesday’s Dynamite, when the two groups joined forces to attack the Death Riders and The Conglomeration. The alliance also marked a heel turn for White, who turned on Orange Cassidy, his tag team partner that night.
White has said he plans to take the AEW Continental Championship from Moxley. He defeated Kyle O’Reilly in Saturday’s Collision main event. After the match, his allies attacked The Conglomeration and brawled with the Death Riders.
