Work on the structure for WWE Crown Jewel was underway when Riyadh Season announced on Wednesday that the PLE is changing venues.

The show is leaving the Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD, in the King Abdullah Financial District. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Crown Jewel will stay in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the show will take place at another arena in the city.

The announcement on X laid out the process for fans who purchased tickets. Riyadh Season wrote:

“We would like to inform you that ‘WWE Crown Jewel’ has been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours.”

Riyadh Season didn’t say which arena will host the show or why it’s moving. Tickets will go back on sale by Friday.

Fightful Select also spoke with people working on the show and confirmed that it’s staying in Riyadh. Fightful added that sources in WWE’s offices only found out when Riyadh Season made the announcement.

The move comes less than two weeks before the show. It was originally scheduled for a temporary stadium that hosted the Royal Rumble in January.

On Monday, Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, was still promoting ticket sales for the show at the stadium where it was set to take place.

On WWE’s own website, the Crown Jewel page still lists the previous stadium, even after the announcement.

The show is still scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 7.
