Jeff Hardy will miss TNA’s upcoming tapings in Canada due to legal issues from his past that make it hard for him to enter the country. He could be back on TV in December.

Fightful Select reported that TNA planned for Jeff to miss the trip to Canada ahead of time. He is dealing with two bulging discs in his neck, but surgery isn’t considered necessary at this point.

Sources told Fightful that the break will give Jeff more time to recover. TNA will still be able to air pre-taped segments with Jeff on iMPACT! in the coming weeks.

TNA wrote Jeff off TV on Thursday’s show, when The Hardys lost to syX (Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer) in a Slaughterhouse syX Match. After the match, Shaw and Sawyer put a trash can over Jeff’s head and hit it with axes, and Jeff was laid out.

TNA’s next stretch of shows in Canada kicks off on November 15 with Destination X at the Edmonton Expo Centre. The company will then hold Thursday Night iMPACT! tapings on November 18 and 19 in Calgary.

Jeff’s history with Canada caused the same problem in August. He did not take part in the tapings in Brampton.

Last week, Matt Hardy talked about his brother’s health again, this time when he discussed the possibility of Jeff taking a break to treat his neck. Matt said:

“It’s gonna be interesting to see what my next character is, especially if Jeff takes a little time off to try and work on his neck a little bit. That may be happening, I guess we’ll see.”

Jeff has been dealing with the neck injury since NXT Halloween Havoc in October 2025, where The Hardys dropped the NXT Tag Team Championship to DarkState.
