Je’Von Evans is officially headed to Money in the Bank. The Young OG defeated Austin Theory and Big Cass in a triple threat qualifier on Monday’s RAW at Arena CDMX.
Cass used his size and power to control the match, while Evans and Theory tried to find a way to stop him. Theory managed to powerbomb Cass, only for Evans to catch Theory with a Frog Splash.
Late in the match, Theory sent Cass out of the ring and nearly pinned Evans, but Cass broke up the pin.
Moments later, Evans sent Theory into Cass, then hit Cass with the OG Cutter and pinned him to earn a spot at Money in the Bank.
Evans also got some payback with the win. Big Cass returned to WWE on August 3 by attacking Evans, then beat him in a singles match on RAW three weeks later.
Evans and Bron Breakker are now the first two confirmed entrants in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Breakker qualified last week when he defeated Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page.
WWE Money in the Bank takes place October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
