Jody Threat is no longer with TNA after asking to leave the promotion.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported Monday that Threat finished her run at last week’s Philadelphia tapings. TNA granted her release request, and the departure was described as amicable.

Threat’s most recent televised match aired on the live July 30 Thursday Night iMPACT from the Liacouras Center. Jada Stone beat her by roll-up in the Knockouts Television title tournament, eliminating Threat in the quarterfinals and advancing to the semifinals.

The departure comes less than seven months after TNA announced on Jan. 14 that Threat had re-signed. During a live PWInsider interview that day, she said the deal would allow her to move forward as a singles wrestler following the end of Spitfire.

TNA had billed Threat as a key part of its new Thursday Night iMPACT era on AMC.

Threat debuted for TNA in 2023 and became a two-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion with Dani Luna. Luna also requested and received her release earlier this year.
