LA Knight Casts Doubt on His WWE Future if He Loses to Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank

LA Knight is heading into one of the most important matches of his WWE career when he faces Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank on Saturday, October 10.

Knight is confident going into the match, but he acknowledged that another loss could leave him with no real prospect of winning his first world title in WWE.

Knight told TMZ’s Inside the Ring podcast that he sees the title match as all or nothing, especially after spending so many years trying to reach the top of WWE.

“So many people ask, ‘how has LA Knight not been World Champion yet?’”

Knight said that the pressure on him to finally win a world title keeps growing and that the time has come to prove he deserves to be among WWE’s top names. He also admitted he is not sure what comes next for him if he cannot beat Reigns.

Knight has reason to be concerned. He faced Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in 2023. Knight got another title shot at the Royal Rumble in January 2024, but Reigns won a Fatal 4-Way match that also featured Randy Orton and AJ Styles.

The current feud reignited when Knight attacked Reigns after Reigns’ win over Penta on Raw in Mexico City. The two traded barbs again on Monday, and Knight accused Reigns of depending on his own family to stay on top.

Knight vs. Reigns is scheduled to close Money in the Bank, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports. The report adds that WWE at one point considered the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the main event, but the company ultimately went with the World Heavyweight Championship match.
