LA Knight intensified his war of words with Roman Reigns on Monday’s Raw in St. Louis, Missouri, just five days before WWE Money in the Bank.
Knight opened the show by saying he is used to living in chaos, and he made it clear that 946’s recent attacks on The Bloodline have not changed his goal. He then said he is fed up with the system and with the same old scum that Reigns represents.
Reigns came out moments later to respond to the taunts. He called Knight a hypocrite, brought up being attacked after beating Penta in Mexico City, and said Knight is not on his level.
Before Reigns could leave the ring, Knight confronted him again, calling him a “manufactured, corporate puppet” and vowing to walk out of Money in the Bank as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
The feud heated up on September 14, when Knight hit Reigns with a BFT after Reigns retained the title against Penta on Raw in Mexico City. The title match was made official that same day.
Reigns and Knight are set to meet this Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
