Liv Morgan remains WWE Women’s World Champion, but she has yet to enter a major rivalry since WrestleMania 42.
According to SelfMadePW, WWE’s current plans for Morgan involve Stephanie Vaquer. However, with the Chilean star still sidelined due to injury, the storyline is on hold for now.
Vaquer was pulled from programming one week after losing the Women’s World Championship to Morgan on the first night of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. The storyline explanation was an attack by The Judgment Day, but her real-life absence was reportedly tied to a shoulder issue.
According to a recent PWInsider update, there was internal expectation for Vaquer to return to creative around Clash in Italy. That did not happen, and she did not even travel to Italy for this week’s Monday Night RAW.

As a result, Morgan’s inclusion in the Queen of the Ring Tournament is, in large part, a way to keep her featured until WWE can resume its plans involving Vaquer.
The Women’s World Champion is confirmed for a first-round Fatal 4-Way against Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green. The winner will face whoever advances from the match between Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill.
On the other side of the bracket, IYO SKY has already advanced after defeating Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Lash Legend on Monday’s RAW in Turin.
The tournament final will take place at Night of Champions on June 27 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. The winner will earn a world title opportunity at SummerSlam.
