Add as a preferred source on Google Dominik Mysterio is still alive in the King of the Ring Tournament. On this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown, held at Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy, the AAA Mega Champion defeated Damian Priest, Trick Williams, and Bron Breakker in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
The match was another first-round bout in the tournament, which will hold its final at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The winner will earn a world title opportunity at SummerSlam.
In the closing stretch, Breakker took Williams out of the action by sending him into the commentary table, leaving Priest and Mysterio alone in the ring.
JD McDonagh tried to interfere on Dominik’s behalf, but Priest was able to neutralize him. However, as Priest was setting up for South of Heaven, Liv Morgan appeared and hit him with a low blow, opening the door for Dominik to hit the 619 and pick up the win.
With the victory, Mysterio will face Oba Femi in the tournament semifinals. Femi advanced by defeating Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes on last Monday’s RAW.
