Add as a preferred source on Google Seth Rollins and IYO SKY, who are both involved in the King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments, have reportedly been picked by WWE to win the two finals at Night of Champions.
According to information attributed to SelfMadePW, Rollins would win KOTR, while SKY would win QOTR, putting both on track for World Championship matches at SummerSlam. WWE has already confirmed that the winners of the tournaments will receive a title shot at the biggest event of the summer.
Night of Champions is set to take place on June 27 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The men’s side, though, still appears to have a few moving parts. As previously reported, WWE had been discussing Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins or Oba Femi, with one of those matches being saved for SummerSlam and the other potentially being held for WrestleMania 43.
In the women’s division, the plan for Liv Morgan to face IYO SKY at SummerSlam is said to be solid, although it is not as far along as the plans involving Rollins.
SKY has already advanced in the Queen of the Ring tournament after defeating Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Lash Legend on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. Rollins, meanwhile, still needs to get past Je’Von Evans, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints on the next RAW.
