Add as a preferred source on Google The WWE SummerSlam card isn’t complete yet. Nine matches have been officially confirmed so far for the two-night event, set for August 1 and August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, a source at ESPN said the final card is expected to include between 12 and 13 matches.
That means WWE is still expected to announce three or four more matches. The split will likely leave each night with six or seven matches, keeping a structure similar to last year’s.
In 2025, the first two-night SummerSlam had 12 matches announced in advance, six per night. Seth Rollins’ cash-in on CM Punk, immediately after Punk’s match against Gunther, ended up creating a 13th match at the event.

One idea the creative team has discussed involves Bron Breakker and Austin Theory of The Vision defending the World Tag Team Championship. The match, however, hasn’t been finalized internally, and the possible challengers haven’t been revealed.
Breakker and Theory regained the titles on July 6, when they defeated the Street Profits again, just two weeks after losing the belts to Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford.
ESPN also expects the Intercontinental Championship match between Penta and Chad Gable to take place early in the show. Gable will compete in his home state.
