Triple H has been one of the most criticized names by WWE fans. At first, the focus of their disapproval was the creative booking of WrestleMania 42. More recently, the company’s latest wave of releases has fallen under his responsibility.
To give you an idea of how much some fans disapprove of Triple H’s work, a post he made on his official X account promoting Roman Reigns’s appearance at Backlash, WWE’s next premium live event, was flooded with criticism and insults over the departures of Kairi Sane, Aleister Black, Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, and Zelina Vega.
However, for anyone expecting Triple H to step down from his position, that’s not happening. According to PW Insider, Triple H has signed a new contract with TKO for approximately three years to remain in creative control of WWE.
“WWE President Nick Khan announced that Paul Levesque just signed a new employment contract with the company to remain WWE Chief Content Officer. In asking around, we are also told it is a ‘multiple year deal’, possibly as long as three years.”
It’s worth noting that Triple H took over WWE’s creative leadership in July 2022, following Vince McMahon’s first exit from the company due to allegations in the Janel Grant case.
In January 2023, even with Vince’s brief return, which lasted until early 2024, Hunter remained as head of creative, holding the position to this day and for the next three years.
