Triple H is once again the target of heavy backlash from WWE fans on social media, just days after the company’s latest wave of releases.
The WWE Chief Content Officer posted a behind-the-scenes video from WrestleMania 42 this Wednesday, showing part of the production process for the event’s entrances, including a quick interaction with CM Punk. WWE itself released the footage with the title “Triple H produces WrestleMania entrances: Behind the Scenes.”
However, the reaction to the post quickly overshadowed the content. Numerous fans flooded the replies with the hashtag #WeWantKairi, protesting the release of Kairi Sane.
It’s a team effort.

Sane’s exit was one of the most criticized on WWE’s latest list of cuts. According to Cageside Seats, the Japanese star was among the names let go after WrestleMania 42, even though she was still part of a storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY.
Furthermore, the internal and external reaction to her departure was very strong. Kairi posted a farewell message on social media, while Asuka, Bayley, and IYO SKY all paid public tributes to the wrestler.
Despite the fan pressure, the current expectation is that WWE will not reverse its decision. According to SEScoops, WrestleVotes reported that the company does not intend to bring her back, to avoid setting a precedent following the R-Truth case.
It remains to be seen whether the #WeWantKairi movement will continue to gain momentum in the coming weeks or if WWE will simply absorb the criticism and stand by its decision.
