Add as a preferred source on Google WWE already has a major title match confirmed for the next episode of NXT, which will take place Tuesday, May 26, from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Lola Vice will put the NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Izzi Dame, marking another chapter in the recent rivalry between the champion and The Culling member.
Vice won the title at NXT Stand & Deliver by defeating Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey in a Triple Threat Match. Since then, Dame has moved closer and closer to the title picture.
On May 5, Izzi and Niko Vance defeated Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana in a non-title Mixed Tag Team Match. The following week, Dame again made her presence felt by laying out Vice with a Big Boot and ending the show with the upper hand.
Along with the NXT Women’s Championship match, WWE also confirmed Sean Legacy vs. Dorian Van Dux in the first round of the WWE Speed Tournament, Jaida Parker vs. Layla Diggs, Shiloh Hill vs. Charlie Dempsey, and Shawn Spears and Niko Vance vs. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price.
Wren Sinclair is also expected to face Kelani Jordan, though the match still depends on medical clearance. Robert Stone said Sinclair will get the match if she is cleared to compete by next week.
